Sex, Love & Pain is the third studio album released by Tank. It was released on May 15, 2007. The first single released was "Please Don't Go", followed by the single "Heartbreaker".
The album leaked onto the Internet on May 9. Following its release, it debuted on the Billboard 200 at number two, selling 103,000 copies in its first week and reaching #1 on the Billboard's Top R&B/Hip-Hop albums chart.
The album was nominated for Best R&B Album for the 50th Grammy Awards. It is also Tank's first album to have a Parental Advisory sticker.
